Linda Kay Rennison, 56, of Sweet Springs, died Saturday, April 30, 2005, at her home.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 2, at First Baptist Church in Sweet Springs. William W. Harlow officiated. Music was provided by soloist Leah Reid and pianist Lynn Reid. Pallbearers were Rick Coyer, Jared Elsea, Brett Tieman, Troy Steinkuhler, Chuck Steinkuhler and Eddie Nelson. Honorary pallbearers were Steve Melies and Ed Reinitz. Burial was in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery in Shackelford. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
Born Feb. 24, 1949, in Sweet Springs, she was the daughter of Clifford Duffey, who survives of Sweet Springs, and the late Reta Meador Duffey. On April 7, 1977, in Sweet Springs, she married Richard E. Rennison, who survives of the home. She had lived in Sweet Springs most of her life and was a graduate of Sweet Springs R-7 High School. She was an Avon sale representative for many years.
Additional survivors include three sons, Kevin Rennison of Sweet Springs, Robert Rennison of LaMonte and Richard J. Rennison of Sweet Springs; two daughters, Renita Funk of Springfield and Heather Rapp of Sweet Springs; one brother, Donald Duffey of Sweet Springs, two sisters, Marla Wiskur of Gilliam and Karen Bredehoeft of Emma; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one sister, Rhonda Bredehoeft.
