Margaret Carolyn Weeks, 68, of Buffalo, died Saturday, April 23, 2005, at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, at Canton Otterness Funeral Home in Buffalo. Doug Earls will officiate. Sandy Hatfield will sing "Amazing Grace." Pallbearers will be John Heber Redd, james Griffiths, Erid Redd, Brandon Stewart, Andy Lewis, Brandon Lewis and Justin Cleveland. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Redd, John Griffiths, Lyle Redd and Lendell Stewart. Burial will be in Macadonia Cemetery.
Born Oct. 10, 1936, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Amos Lewis Finkeldei and Olive Gertrude Foster Finkeldei. She was raised in the Blackburn community and attended Blackburn School. On Aug. 7, 1955, she married Heber Weeks, who survives of the home. The couple lived in Blackburn for a short time before moving to Buffalo.
Additional survivors include four daughters, Kathy Redd of Halfway, Carolyn Griffiths of Springfield, Trudy Redd of Buffalo and Cheryl Stewart of Lincoln; one brother, William F. Finkeldei of Marshall; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
