Charles H. Driskell, 83, of Marshall, died Friday, April 1, 2005, at Sweet Springs Villa in Sweet Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Rev. Douglas A. Dubisar will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshall.
Born April 17, 1921, near Herndon, he was the son of the late Hebrew Driskell and Sophia Kurtz Driskell. He had lived in Marshall his entire life and worked at International Shoe Company, Kraft Foods and was a farmer.
Survivors include one sister, Katherine Bourgeois and husband Louis of Marshall; one niece, Martha A. Weniger and husband Dick of Portland, Ore.; one great-niece, Cristy Diaz and husband Sergio of Phoenix, Ariz.; one great-nephew, Michael Weniger and wife Trina of Phoenix; and one great-great-nephew, Blake Weniger of Phoenix.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Radford Driskell.
