Jeanie Kay Bagnell, 58, of Marshall, died Thursday, March 17, 2005, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, at First United Methodist Church in Marshall. Rev. Dave Huck will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 21, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church, Fitzgibbon-Mary Montgomery Hospice or Saline County Hardeman Memorial Church.

Born Aug. 10, 1946, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Uel Franklin Chevalier and Helen Shirley Coleman Chevalier. On May 24, 1964, she married Thomas H. "Tom" Bagnell, who survives of the home. She had lived in Saline County her entire life and was a 1964 graduate of Malta Bend High School. She was a homemaker and a 24-year Avon representative. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Marshall and a former choir member. She was a past 4-H council president, a 20-year 4-H leader and received the 4-H Alumni Award. She was a member of the National Federation of Pachyderm, LaSerie/Coterie president, president of the Extension Council, past president of the Saline County Extension Council, Outstanding Federation Woman and a Boy Scout leader.

Additional survivors include one son, Robert "Bob" Bagnell and wife Tonya of Huntsville; and two granddaughters Shelby Lynn Bagnell and Rachael Ann Bagnell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters in infancy.
