Cecil Lee Hemme, 74, of Sweet Springs, died Thursday, March 17, 2005, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 21, at Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs. Rev. Gene Smith will officiate. Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 20, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Sweet Springs. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.

Born Sept. 17, 1930, in Sweet Springs, he was the son of the late Leonard Hemme and Mabel Allen Hemme. He had lived in the Sweet Springs area his entire life and was a farmer and painter.

Survivors include one brother, Clyde W. Hemme of Sweet Springs.
