Ethel H. Wolf, 76, of Tipton, died Monday, March 7, 2005, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Tipton. Father David Veit officiated. Burial was in St. Andrew's Cemetery in Tipton. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or St. Andrew's Church.
Born Oct. 2, 1928, in Vienna, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Eleanor Wilde Luebbering. On April 21, 1949, in Tipton, she married Earl John Wolf, who preceded her in death Jan. 6, 1993. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Tipton and St. Andrew's Altar Society.
Survivors include two sons, Harold Wolf and Russell Wolf, both of Tipton; four daughters, Judy Sommerer of Clarksburg, Delores Jaco of Marshall, Marlene Merk of Fortuna and Joyce Roberts of California; four brothers, Paul Luebbering of Mora, Harry Luebbering of Batavia, Ill., Earl Luebbering of Smithton and Stanley Luebbering of Chanute, Kan.; and one sister, Eunice Lappat of Lake Ozark.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Angela Luebbering; one son, Ronald Luebbering; and two sisters, Dorothy Wallenmeyer and Betty Gerke.
