Wilma R. Phillips, 82, of Marshall, died Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at Big Bend Retreat in Slater.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. William W. Harlow will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 4, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church or Big Bend Retreat.
Born Feb. 28, 1923, in Saline County, she was the daughter of the late Giles Thomas Harris and Mary Ruth Tudors Harris. On Feb. 28, 1942, she married Charles E. Phillips, who survives of the home. She had lived in Saline County her entire life and was a member of First Christian Church. She was a homemaker and had worked at International Shoe Company. She was a 1941 graduate of Marshall High School.
Additional survivors include two sons, Kenny Phillips and Tom Phillips, both of Marshall; one daughter, Linda Bradley of Marshall; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Giles T. Harris Jr.
