Florence G. Heiman, 86, of Boise, Idaho, formerly of Marshall, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, at Sunbridge Health Care Center in Meridian, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2005, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Rev. Vernon Maxted will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
Born Dec. 11, 1918, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late James H. Dennis and Florence E. Lasley Dennis. On April 18, 1944, she married James R. Heiman, who preceded her in death Dec. 6, 1951. She had lived in Marshall most of her life, living in Idaho the past five years. She retired from Cargill, and after her retirement she worked at Wal-Mart. She attended First Baptist Church and was a member of the Baptist Singles.
Survivors include one son, James R. "Buzz" Heiman Jr. and wife Lereta of Boise; one brother, Robert Dennis and wife Ann of Sedalia; three grandchildren, Joanne Kanta of Boise, Joe Eddy and wife Pam of Marshall and Eric Eddy of Marshall; one great-granddaughter, Brandi Kay Eddy; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Dennis and Ray Dennis; and one sister, Emma Jane Coulter.
