John O. Myers, 53, of Marshall, died Sunday, Feb. 27, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, at Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home in Marshall. Rev. Michael Hibbard will officiate. Organist Edith Pautz will play "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art." Burial will be in Utica Cemetery in Utica.
Born Jan. 4, 1952, in Kansas City, he was the son of the late Earl J. Myers and Betty Lou Smoot Myers. He was a resident of Marshall for most of his life and had lived at the Marshall Habilitation Center.
Survivors include two brothers, Wilbur E. Myers of Worth, Ill., and Robert E. Myers of Chicago, Ill.; three sisters, Connie S. Jasmer of Chicago, Debra A. Hagler of Palos Hills, Ill., and Donna Kluzek of Sandy, N.M. and several nieces and nephews.
