Kathryn B. "Katie" Randolph, 82, of Arrow Rock, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, in Westerville, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Rev. Dave Huck will officiate. Pallbearers will be David Barr, Art Hains, Tom Beamer, Bruce McGlaughlin, Clay Marsh and Chet Breitwieser. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to Saline Animal League or Arrow Rock Federated Church.
Born Nov. 13, 1922, in Nelson, she was the daughter of the late Truman Brown and Gesner Pile Brown. On Sept. 1, 1948, she married Dr. J.R. Randolph, who preceded her in death Sept. 19, 1987. She had lived in Arrow Rock since 1989, moving from rural Marshall. She had been a member of First United Methodist Church in Marshall and attended Arrow Rock Federated Church in Arrow Rock. She was a member of Chapter JS of the PEO Sisterhood, The Monday Club, Daughters of the American Revolution and several bridge clubs. She had served on the Blosser Home board.
Survivors include three sons, Randy Randolph and wife Chris of Westerville, Ohio, Rick Randolph of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Mike Randolph and wife Kristin of Madison, Wis.; one brother, Ken Brown and wife Carolyn of Leawood, Kan.; four grandchildren, J.R. Randolph III, Mary Kathryn Randolph, Meghan Randolph and Patrick Randolph; and several nieces and nephews.
