Iva Mary Thee
Iva Mary Thee, 94, of Lexington, formerly of Dover, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2005, at Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 4, at Dover Christian Church in Dover. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington. Burial will be in Dover Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South St., Lexington, MO, 64067. Memorials are suggested to Dover Christian Church or the Dover Cemetery Flag Fund.
Born Aug. 27, 1910, in Fort Scott, Kan., she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Morilla Parsons Kee. On May 12, 1926, in Lexington, she married Herbert Herman Thee, who preceded her in death Feb. 29, 1996. She worked at the Kelling Clinic in Waverly for 17 years as a nurse. She was a member of the Dover Christian Church.
Survivors include five children, Darlene Durham and husband Charles of St. Louis, Joan Marsh of Marshall, Herman Thee and wife Robin of Blue Springs, Joseph Thee and wife Connie of Lexington and Gerald Thee of Chattanooga, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren and 37 great- and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Phyllis Barnes; one son, Herbert "Sonny" Thee; one brother, Clarence Kee; and four grandchildren.
