Raymond A. Hagan, 80, of Sweet Springs, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Cremation. Memorial graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, at Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs. Beryl Schewe will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at the family home, 702 Bridge, in Sweet Springs. A brief prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
Born Jan. 24, 1925, in Sweet Springs, he was the son of the late Arthur Hagan and Mary Scott Hagan. On July 3, 1952, he married Nancy Jackson, who survives of the home. He was a graduate of Sweet Springs High School and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He had lived in Sweet Springs since 1979, moving from Denver, Colo., and was a past employee of Sinclair Refining Co. and Atlantic Richfield Co.
Additional survivors include one son, John A. Hagan of Denver, Colo.; one sister, Mary Ellen Hinson of Lee's Summit; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
