Dolores Mae Selph, 73, of Homewood, Ill., formerly of Saline County, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights, Ill.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at Slater City Cemetery in Slater. William W. Harlow will officiate. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
Born Sept. 6, 1931, in Slater, she was the daughter of the late Bernard W. Fowler and Iris Winifred Sargent Fowler. On Feb. 16, 1951, she married John Anderson "Andy" Selph Jr., who preceded her in death May 25, 2001. She had lived in Slater for most of her life and was a graduate of Slater High School. She had lived in Homewood, Ill., since 1984 and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a homemaker and a Methodist.
Survivors include one son, Kevin Selph and wife Jena of Chicago, Ill.; one daughter, Deborah Clatworthy and husband Andrew of England; one brother, B.W. Fowler of Independence; one sister, Vivian Constable of Lee's Summit; one granddaughter, Jessica Selph of Chicago; and several nieces and nephews.
