Judith K. Fenton, 61, of Hesston, Kan., died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis in Wichita, Kan.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel in Newton, Kan. Rev. Phil Fisher will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery in rural Hesston, Kan., at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
Born April 16, 1943, in Newton, Kan., she was the daughter of the late Lewis Fenton and Ruth Abrahams Fenton. She was married to Allan LaForme, who preceded her in death January 2003. She was a retired nurse's aide for the state of Texas.
Survivors include three sisters, Eunice Barricklow of Moundridge, Kan., Joyce Miller of Marshall and Ruth Adams of McClellanville, S.C.; 12 nieces and nephews; and 12 greatnieces and greatnephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Maxine Veneris; one infant brother, Gerald Fenton; and three nephews.
