Dan Sigman, 51, of Palm Springs, Calif., formerly of Sweet Springs, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at Desert Regional Hospital in Palm Springs.
Cremation. Memorial graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, at Nelson Cemetery in Nelson. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home.
Born March 1, 1953, in the state of Missouri, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Banks and Maxine Murphy Banks. He was a 1971 graduate of Sweet Springs High School. He graduated from the University of Missouri, majoring in music. He had been employed at Cessna Aircraft in Wichita, Kan., and TRW in Houston, Texas. He was a resident of Palm Springs, Calif., for the past several years.
Survivors include two brothers, Tom Banks of Marshall and Mike Sigman of Willow Glen, Calif.; two sisters, Patty Schneider of Richmond, Texas, and Donna Colburn of Phoenix, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
