Leonard Herman Kruger, 74, of rural Nelson, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
Born June 9, 1930, in Boonville, he was the son of Frank Kruger, who survives of rural Blackwater, and the late Clara Jeager Kruger. He had lived in the rural Nelson and Blackwater area most of his life and was a farmer. He was a 1946 graduate of Boonville High School and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean conflict.
Additional survivors include two sons; Bruce Kruger of Columbia and Glen Kruger of Lake Ozark; one daughter, Carol Kruger of Columbia; his stepmother, Dorothy Kruger of rural Blackwater; one sister, Sherry Stone of Boonville; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one sister.
