Norvella K. Huff, 61, of Marshall, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, at Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home in Marshall. Rev. Larry Thomas officiated. Organist Ramona Bullington played "I'll Fly Away" and "One Day at a Time." Pallbearers were Bobby Adcock, John Adcock, Mike Adcock, Ryan Adcock, Tray Adcock and Wesley Witcher Jr. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
Born July 6, 1943, in Nelson, she was the daughter of the late John S. Witcher Jr. and Margaret Pointer Witcher. In 1964, at Marshall, she married Bobby Huff Sr., who survives. She had been employed at the Marshall Habilitation Center for 25 years before her retirement in 2000. She was a member of Zoar Baptist Church in Napton.
Additional survivors include one son, Bobby Joe Huff Jr. of Slater; one daughter, Michelle R. Jones of Marshall; one brother, Marvin Witcher of Marshall; one sister, Mary Ruth Adcock of Napton; three granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
