Marilyn Anne Martin, 63, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at Malta Bend Cemetery. Rev. Darlene Payne will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to McCrory Gardens in Brookings, S.D., in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
Born Sept. 3, 1941, in Brookings, S.D., she was the daughter of the late Samuel Aubrey McCrory and Mabel McRoberts McCrory. For 42 years, she was married to Jerry F. Martin, who survives of Wayzata, Minn. She was a business school graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and Christian College in Columbia. She was a member of the Minneapolis Junior League and participated in the Children's Hospital Auxiliary. Her hobbies included horticulture and gardening, as well as cooking and traveling.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Michelle L. Rosell and husband Luis of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, and Melissa G. Martin of Princeton, N.J.; one son, Craig F. Martin and wife Brenda of Omaha, Neb.; and four grandchildren, Katlyn Martin, Nicholas Martin and Quinn Martin of Omaha and Samantha Rosell of Mt. Pleasant.
