Gloria M. Owsley, 70, of Lee's Summit, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004, at her home.
Cremation. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee's Summit. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society or Kansas City Hospice in care of Langsford Funeral Home, 115 SW Third St., Lee's Summit, MO, 64063.
Born May 3, 1934, in Blackburn, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Viola Nienhiser. On May 26, 1954, in Colorado Springs, Colo., she married William Lee Owsley, who survives of the home. She attended Blackburn High School. After living in the state of Colorado, they moved to the Kansas City area, where she was a member of Lee's Summit United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included traveling in a motor home and vacationing in her winter home in Texas.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Sharon Nichols of Parkville and Karen Cesar of Smithville; and four grandchildren, Mike, Jenny, Kristen and Jessica.
