Lois E. Closterman, 93, of Grand Pass, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. William W. Harlow will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Lexington Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.
Born Feb. 20, 1911, in Grand Pass, she was the daughter of the late Henderson Ritchhart and Anna Belle Moore Ritchhart. On Sept. 26, 1932, she married George B. Closterman, who preceded her in death April 23, 1968. She had lived in Grand Pass her entire life and was a homemaker. She was a Christian, a 52-year member of Lexington Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Grand Pass Extension Club.
Survivors include three sons, Ronald G. Closterman and wife Elnora of Waverly, Raymond H. Closterman and wife Anna Mae of Waverly, and Royce Dale Closterman and wife Ruth of Kansas City; five grandchildren, Shirley Ann Vandeventer, David R. Closterman, Mark D. Closterman, Merle D. Closterman and Ronda G. Branner; 10 great-grandchildren, Crystal Smoot, Ben Arbuthnot, Aaron Aversman, Chris Closterman, Clifton Vandeventer, Jo Ann Closterman, Connie Closterman, Jake Closterman, Corey Closterman and Katelyn Branner; and four great-great-grandchildren, Allison Smoot, Jeffery Smoot, Sebrina Arbuthnot and Savannah Arbuthnot.
