The Lady Chiefs scored 40 percent of their points on aces, sophomores Sarah Christopherson and Michelle Aversman combining for 13 of the 20. Sophomores Paula Tieman and Holly Schmidt split nine kills between them and Santa Fe only needed to come up with 13 digs against the Lady Panthers (7-14).
The Lady Chiefs (19-7-4) are the No. 1 seed in the Class 1, District 14 Tournament at Lexington, meaning a first-round bye before taking on the winner between Sweet Springs and Concordia in Tuesday's semifinal.
