Eula Bullard, 82, of Marshall, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Rev. Zane Whorton will officiate. Burial will be in Hazel Grove Cemetery near Herndon. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Show-Me Christian Youth Home.
Born Oct. 30, 1921, in Slater, she was the daughter of the late Herbert H. Herman and Pearl Officer Herman. On July 27, 1940, she married Rease E. Bullard, who preceded her in death Oct. 1, 2003. She had lived in Marshall the last 21 years, moving from Gladstone, and was a homemaker. She was a 1940 graduate of Slater High School and the School of Cosmetology in Olathe, Kan. She was a member of First Christian Church and its Christian Women's Fellowship.
Survivors include two sons, Rick Bullard of Marshall and Steve Bullard of Versailles; two sisters, Marie Lakin of Lee's Summit and Nellie Grigsby of Slater; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents are husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Herbert Herman, Lester Herman, Charles Herman, Herbert Hadley Herman and Henry Herman; and two sisters, Kathryn Herman and Odel Yung.
