Dorothy Willa Ford, 84, of Marshall, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. William W. Harlow and Dan Fahnestock will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
Born Oct. 28, 1919, in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late John Montgomery and Julia Trimble Montgomery. On Jan. 19, 1938, she married Ezra Ford, who preceded her in death in 1980. She had lived in Marshall since 1943, moving from Dallas County, and had worked at Banquet Foods for 25 years, retiring in 1979.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy Riley and husband Bob of Marshall; one son, Bobby Ford and wife Helen of Marshall; one daughter-in-law, Glenda Ford of Bolivar; three sisters, Myrtle Lipe, Maggie Haney and Eula Jasper, all of Buffalo; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Leon Ford; one grandson, Christopher Ford; four brothers and two sisters.
