Minnie Irene Gaddy, 89, of Marshall, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at Warsaw Health and Rehab in Warsaw.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Ernest Whittington will officiate. Pallbearers will be Doug Nowlin, Dale Nowlin, Rusty Bellamy, Jeff Bellamy, Steven Gaddy, Jason Goring and Chad Simpson. Honorary pallbearers will be Nicholas Gaddy, Michael Nowlin, Marc Nowlin, Thomas Gaddy, Samuel Gaddy, Levi Gaddy, Cory Gaddy, Noah Bellamy and Kyron Beavers. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in Blue Lick Cemetery near Marshall. Memorials are suggested to Blue Lick Cemetery.
Born Oct. 13, 1915, in Saline County, she was the daughter of the late William Walker George and Emma Bell Clause George. She had lived in Saline County her entire life and retired from the Marshall Habitation Center. She was a member of Blue Lick Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Ada Nowlin of Warsaw, Panny Nelson of Warsaw, Connie Goring of Higginsville, and Karen Simpson of California; five sons, Harry Gaddy of Marshall, Kenneth Gaddy of Aurora, Colo., Don Gaddy of Marshall, Gary Gaddy of Lincoln, and Danny Gaddy of Hallsville; one sister, Lydia Vogl of Marshall; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Wanda Joan Gaddy; one grandson; one brother and five sisters.
