Scott Warner Bush, 51, doctor of optometry, of Sedalia, formerly of Marshall, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, at Four Seasons Living Center in Sedalia.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Rev. N. Paul Callahan will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church Building Fund or Mercy Med Flight in the care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.
Born Oct. 4, 1953, in Kansas City, he was the son of the late Donn H. Bush and Norma Ruth Juelich Bush, who survives of Marshall. He had lived in Sedalia the last four years, previously living in the Fort Worth, Texas area; Tyler, Texas; Marshall and Butler. He was a graduate of Marshall High School, University of Missouri-Columbia and Illinois School of Optometry in Chicago. He was an optometrist for many years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Marshall.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Rachel E. Bush and Courtney A. Bush, both of Tyler; one sister, Donna Wilson of Daphne, Ala.; one brother, Charles E. Bush of Independence; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Lee Bush.
