Finis Theodore "Ted" Riley, 64, of Lee's Summit, formerly of Marshall, died Monday, Sept. 27, 2004, at his home.
Cremation. Memorial services were held Friday, Oct. 1, at Longview Baptist Church in Lee's Summit. Rev. Ben Dobbs officiated.
Born April 22, 1940, in Thayer, he was the son of the late Clarence E. and Madeline Shufflebarger Riley. He lived off and on in Marshall throughout his life. He had worked as a plumber and heavy equipment operator around Kansas City, and worked for Banquet Foods in Marshall.
Survivors include one daughter, Gloria Aldridge of Lee's Summit; four brothers, Winford David Riley of Marshall, Irvin Delamor Riley of Marshall, Dean Riley of Independence and Donald Ray "Cotton" Riley of the state of Georgia; three sisters, Louise Swift of Marshall, Betty Johnson of Lee's Summit and Janet Johnson of Hardin; one grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Ted Riley; three brothers, Edward Lee Riley, Willard Riley and Clarence Wayne Riley; and two sisters, Margaret Thornton and Cecila Yvonne Huffard.
