Mitzi Kintz Edde, 67, of Warsaw, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004, in North Shores Resort near Warsaw.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, at Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial was in Shawnee Cemetery in Warsaw.
Born Sept. 11, 1937, in Saline County, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Ruth Shelton Dial. On Dec. 8, 1977, in Marshall, she married Bob Edde, who survives of the home. She grew up in Saline County and graduated from Nelson High School in 1955. She lived in the Kansas City area and was employed as an assistant manager for Denny's in Independence in the late 1960s. After her marriage, she lived in Malta Bend until 1994, when she moved to North Shore Resort near Warsaw.
Additional survivors include three sons, Rick Kintz of Liberty, Chesley Kintz of Independence and Victor Kintz of Las Vegas, Nev.; one brother, Homer Dial Jr. of Marshall; three sisters, Ann Green and Mary Roe, both of Arrow Rock, and Joey Pagel of Flemington; four stepchildren, Gina Ballew of Slater, Bobbie Edde of Slater, Linda Lyon of Marshall and Martin Edde of Marshall; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; seven stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
