Georgia Mae Thomas, 76, of Marshall, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2004, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Rev. Steve Raglin will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to Mar-Saline Manor.
Born Aug. 29, 1928, in Morehouse, she was the daughter of the late George Williamson and Rosetta Bryant. On March 6, 1965, she married Clifford C. Thomas, who preceded her in death Aug. 13, 1999. She had lived in Saline County the last 40 years and had been a nurses' aide at Big Bend Retreat and a homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Marshall.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol Bryant and husband Frank of Marshall; one stepson, Clinton Thomas and wife Betty of Marshall; one brother, Fred Bryant of Paragould, Ark.; one grandson; three stepgrandsons; one stepgranddaughter; one great-granddaughter; one stepgreat-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one stepson, two sisters and one half-brother.
