Myrtle L. Mumbrauer, 90, of Slater, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2004, at her sister's home in Slater.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, in the Slater City Cemetery. Rev. Robert Sisney will officiate. Pallbearers will be Randy Berger, Greg Berger, Wesley Young, Anthony Eddy, Jason Stockman and Shane Eddy. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Weiker Funeral Home in Slater. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
Born May 12, 1914, in Slater, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Lena Sinnett Sallee. On April 23, 1945, in Jackson, Miss., she married Roland S. "Dick" Mumbrauer, who preceded her in death July 19, 1996. She was a Baptist and had lived in Marshall for many years before moving to Slater in 2004.
Survivors include four sisters, Marjorie Mitchell and Dolly Eddy, both of Slater, Ruby Cook of Marshall and Helen Shepard of Independence; two granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Candice Vogl; one brother, J.W. Berger; and one sister, Billie Taylor.
