Robert Dewey Geiser, 68, of Marshall, formerly of Sedalia and Dresden, died Saturday, July 24, 2004, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 29, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Rev. Steve Raglin will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be at Dresden Cemetery in Dresden. Memorials are suggested to American Diabetes Association or National Kidney Foundation.

Born Aug. 13, 1935, in Pettis County, he was the son of the late Dewey Jesse Geiser and Maggie Beyer Geiser. On Aug. 9, 1953, he married Rose Ann Miller, who preceded him in death Aug. 10, 1995. On July 7, 1996 he married Debbie McGuire Adams, who survives of the home. He was a furniture mover for North American Van Lines and Atlas Van Lines. He was a 1953 graduate of Green Ridge High School and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Marshall. He had lived in Marshall since 2000, moving from Pettis County where he had lived most of his life.

Additional survivors include four daughters, Dianna Kay Geiser of Melbourne, Fla., Etta May Steen of Concordia, Barbara Jean Berry of Green Ridge and Laura Michelle Hayes of Sedalia; two sons, Robert Dean Geiser of Denver, Colo., and Teddy Lee Geiser of the home; two sisters, Rose Sipes of Sedalia and Laureen Todd of Clifton City; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Fiedler.
