Helen C. Leimkuehler, 89, of Napton, died Friday, July 9, 2004, at Big Bend Retreat in Slater.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 11, at First Baptist Church in Marshall. Rev. N. Paul Callahan and Rev. Wayne Doolin will officiate. Pianist Julie Lewis will play "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Amazing Grace." Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the church. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
Born April 6, 1915, in Alma, she was the daughter of the late Louis William Leimkuehler and Emma Christina Meyer Leimkuehler. She had lived in Saline County most of her life and was a farmer. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Marshall, where she was active in Sunday School and the youth program. She was a 1932 graduate of Marshall High School.
Survivors include one brother, Harry Leimkuehler of Blackwater; one nephew, Bill Leimkuehler of Marshall; one niece, Dian St. Clair of rural Nelson; and three great-nephews and two great-nieces.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by twin sisters in infancy.
