Harold Joe "Dizzy" Boggs, 63, of New Franklin, died Monday, June 7, 2004, at his home.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, June 10, at Arrow Rock Cemetery in Arrow Rock. William W. Harlow will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Pallbearers will be Mike Boggs, Kyle Boggs, Bruce Boggs, Curtis Bright, Kerwin Moody, Roy Alley, Stephen Alley and Gary Alley. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
Born Dec. 22, 1940, in Cooper County, he was the son of the late Hardin W. Boggs and Leona A. Hayward Boggs. He had lived in Cooper County most of his life and was a retired construction worker.
Survivors include one daughter, Sheena Boggs of Atlanta; two brothers, Raymond Boggs of Warsaw and Danny Boggs of Marshall; two sisters, Betty Alley of Boonville and Martha Bright of Sweet Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his praents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Grace Lusher and Peggy Spear.
