Gina Lowe, 42, of Marshall Junction, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 21, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Rev. Norma Marchand will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery in Saline County. Memorials are suggested to Smith Chapel United Methodist Church.
Born March 4, 1962, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Norman P. Nelson and Marie Draffen Nelson. On June 12, 1984, she married Calvin Wayne Lowe, who survives of the home. She had lived in Saline County her entire life and was a cook at the Marshall Habilitation Center the last 23 years. She was also a 1980 Marshall High School graduate.
Additional survivors include her mother-in-law, Ruth Mabrey of Concordia; two sons, Calvin Wayne Lowe Jr. of Slater and Kyle Shane Lowe of the home; one daughter, Samantha Jo Lowe of the home; three sisters, Linda Wade and husband Larry of Harlingen, Texas, Sheila Mikle of Marshall and Bridget Crafton and husband David of Omaha, Neb.; one brother, Dean Nelson of Marshall; one grandson, Calvin Wayne Lowe III; and several nieces and nephews.
