Florence Ada Sprague, 96, of Marshall, died Saturday, April 3, 2004, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. William W. Harlow will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to Heartland Residential Care Center in Marshall.
Born March 26, 1908, in Laclede County, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Davis and Alice DeCorsy Davis. In September 1926, she married Luther Rodden, who preceded her in death in October 1959. On September 5, 1968, she married Lester Bowler, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 19, 1976, she married Albert Sprague, who preceded her in death. She had lived in the Marshall area since 1943. She had worked at the dormitories at Missouri Valley College in Marshall and was a homemaker. She had also worked at the Marshall Habilitation Center.
Survivors include two sons, LeRoy Rodden and wife Joyce of Jefferson City and Jim Rodden and wife Mary of Marshall; one daughter, Zella M. Holt and husband Marion of Windsor; one sister, Lucille Wilson of Harrisonville; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by two daughters, one son, two sisters, two brothers, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
