Helen Irene Robison, 75, of Marshall, died Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 2, at Grand Pass Community Cemetery in Grand Pass. Rev. Mike Redman will officiate. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 1, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Pallbearers will be Tim Staton, Ken Inman, Rick Swafford, Paul Bosley, Kenny Flanagan and Jake Robison. Burial will be in Grand Pass Community Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Grand Pass Community Cemetery in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
Born April 20, 1928, in Boone County, she was the daughter of the late Azariat Mize and Bertha Burnett Mize. On Oct. 22, 1949, she married August Woodson Robison, who preceded her in death Feb. 3, 1997. She was a homemaker and member of Open Door Baptist Church in Marshall.
Survivors include five daughters, Shirley Ballew of Houstonia, Anna Inman of Lexington, Lola Swafford of Richmond, Lois Bosley of Gilliam and Neena Flanagan of Marshall; one son, Bill Robison of Marshall; four sisters; one brother; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, August Robison Jr., one daughter, Mary Lou Robison, and one great-granddaughter.
