Janice L. Adams, 53, of Marshall, formerly of Windsor, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Cremation. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 7, at Hadley Funeral Home in Windsor. The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calhoun Cemetery in Calhoun. Memorials are suggested to Marshall Public Library in care of the funeral home.
Born Jan. 14, 1951, in Flint, Mich., she was the daughter of Glen Edward Adams and Mildred Jean Crane Adams, who both survive of Windsor. She was head librarian at Marshall Public Library. She was previously a hotline reference librarian in Michigan and Utah. She was a member of the Marshall Optimist Club, Stitch by Stitch Quilter's Guild, the Church of Christ and Salt Fork YMCA, all in Marshall, and the Missouri Library Association, American Library Association, Public Library Directors and Friends of Library Services. She was also a Master Gardener through the Michigan State University Extension.
Additional survivors include one brother, Eddie Adams of Ionia; three sisters, Julie Isabell of Calhoun, Penny Warner of Linn Creek and Heidi Adams of Versailles; and nine nieces and nephews.
