Diane Elaine Marquand, 47, of Marshall, died Sunday, Feb. 29, 2004, at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, at Marshall Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Terry Schmelzenbach will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Memorials are suggested to Ellis Fischel Cancer Center or the American Cancer Society in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
Born Feb. 1, 1957, in Davenport, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Spanyers and Barbara Watts Spanyers. On Jan. 24, 1991, she married William Lloyd "Billy" Marquand, who survives of the home. She had lived in Marshall since 1998, moving from Joplin. She was a member of Marshall Church of the Nazarene and had been a cook, waitress and homemaker.
Additional survivors include three brothers, two sisters and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother.
