A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Pastor Charles Parker, her uncle, will officiate. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
Born Aug. 10, 1926, in Saline County, she was the daughter of William LaRose and Mary Parker LaRose. On Aug. 20, 1948, she married Robert Lee "Bob" Stanfield, who survives of Snyder. They resided in Marshall, where her husband was superintendent of the International Shoe Factory. After 1971, they lived in Snyder, where they were partners with her sister and brother-in-law, John and Evelyn Thomas, in a Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge and Honda motorcycle agency.
Additional survivors include two sons, Bruce Stanfield of Snyder and Terry Stanfield of Houston, Texas; one stepdaughter, Sherry Twyman of Prairie Village, Kan.; one sister, Evelyn Thomas of Marshall; two brothers, Bill LaRose of Shawnee Mission, Kan., and Ralph LaRose of Independence; two grandsons, Christopher and Jeffrey Stanfield, both of Snyder; one granddaughter, Terra Stanfield Seidel of Crawfordsville, Ind.; one stepgrandson, Matt Twyman of Des Peres; and one stepgranddaughter, Emily Twyman of Prairie Village, Kan.; and one stepgreat-grandson, Luke Twyman of Des Peres.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Wilma Bryan, and two brothers, Warren and Paul LaRose.
