Frances Alford Jackson, 100, of Sweet Springs, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004, at Lutheran Nursing Home in Concordia.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at Sweet Springs Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs. Memorials are suggested to Sweet Springs Presbyterian Church or Lutheran Nursing Home in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.
Born Oct. 13, 1903, in Perry, she was the daughter of the late Fielding and Mallie Cowden Alford. She married C.A. Jackson, who preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Perry High School, William Woods College and the 1925 class of University of Missouri. She was retired from the public school system.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Hagan of Sweet Springs and Catherine Schewe of Glasgow; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
