Mable L. Stoner, 74, of Carrollton, formerly of Saline County, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, at Gilliam Cemetery in Gilliam. Rev. Robert Sisney will officiate. Pallbearers will be Marvin V. Roll Jr., Dwayne Meyer, Russell Stoner, Billy Stoner, Aaron Stoner and Michael Roll. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice. Weiker Funeral Home in Slater is in charge of arrangements.
Born Sept. 26, 1929, in Slater, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Rubena Huff Willis. She was a homemaker and had lived in Carrollton for 22 years, moving from Wakenda.
Survivors include three sons, Billy Stoner of Kansas City and Richard Stoner and Russell Stoner, both of Carrollton; four daughters, Darlene Stoner of Carrollton and Wanda Meyer, Mary Wright and Margaret Topel, all of Marshall; one brother, Henry Willis of Modesto, Calif.; one sister, Della Mae Cramer of Slater; 20 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, one stepson, one stepdaughter, two brothers, one sister, two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
