Dennis Ray Schaller, 55, of Marshall, formerly of Corder, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2004, at the Marshall Habilitation Center.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19, at Hoefer Chapel in Higginsville. Rev. Donald G. Sturgess officiated. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Corder. Memorials are suggested to Marshall Habilitation Center.

Born June 24, 1948, in Corder, he was the son of the late Rupert Schaller and Mildred Higgins Schaller. He was a student at the Marshall Habilitation Center. He previously lived in Corder, moving to Marshall in 1964.

Survivors include five sisters, Dorothy Narron of Lee's Summit, Melba Burge of Warrensburg, Nancy Coen of Higginsville, Linda Gavin of Corder and Janet Portell of Corder; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers.
