Florine Hisle, 79, of rural Miami, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Rev. Phyllis Anderson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tim Hisle, Ronnie Hisle, Preston Hisle, Clayton Hisle, Doug Landstad, Chris Landstad and Brandon Perkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeanna Hisle, Emily Brooks, Melissa Hisle, Dani Hisle, Amelia Hisle and Lauren Hisle. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery in Miami. Memorials are suggested to Miami United Methodist Church, Miami Cemetery or Fitzgibbon-Mary Montgomery Hospice.
Born Feb. 13, 1924, in Miami, she was the daughter of the late Theiss Phillip Herrmann and Mary Bell Davis Herrmann. On Oct. 28, 1954, in Miami, she married William M. "Bill" Hisle, who survives of the home. She had lived in the Miami area her entire life and was a homemaker and member of Miami United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Friends of Miami, Miami Community Club, Fairville Extension/Community Club and The Monday Club. She was a 1943 Miami High School graduate.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Linda Perkins of Sweet Springs and Carol Landstad of Cassville; three sons, Joe Hisle of Marshall, Mike Hisle of Miami and Steve Hisle of Marshall; one sister, Eileen Kiso of Slater; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Della Herrmann.
