Robert D. "Bob" Kiser II, 76, of rural Marshall, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at his home.
Cremation. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, at Union Cemetery near Marshall. William W. Harlow will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in Union Cemetery with military rites at graveside. Memorials are suggested to Union Baptist Church.
Born June 12, 1927, in Saline County, he was the son of the late Robert Daniel Kiser and Dorothy Dyer Kiser. He had lived in Saline County most of his life and was a member of Union Baptist Church. He was a construction worker for Boedeker Construction for more than 20 years and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include two sons, Chris Kiser of rural Marshall and Giles Kiser of Marshall; four daughters, Beverly Etheridge of Nashville, Tenn., Pamela Hare of Goldsboro, N.C., Lisa D. Thomas of Harford City, Ind., and Stacey Kiser of Marshall; one brother, James D. "Jim" Kiser of Malta Bend; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Kiser.
