Naomi F. Ballew, 69, of Marshall, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Cremation. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshall. Rev. Douglas A. Dubisar will officiate. Organist Judy Klasing will provide the music. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home in Marshall.
Born Dec. 10, 1933, in Blackburn, she was the daughter of the late Louis Ohrenberg and Clara Veits Ohrenberg. On June 3, 1962, in Marshall, she married Thomas J. Ballew, who preceded her in death Nov. 14, 1984. She was a lifelong resident of Saline County and had been employed at ConAgra Frozen Foods and the Marshall Habilitation Center until her retirement. She was a member of the Marshall Optimist Club and Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Survivors include one son, Thomas L. Ballew of the home; one brother, Edward L. "Joe" Ohrenberg of Alma; and several nieces and nephews.
