Naomi F. Ballew, 69, of Marshall, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshall. Rev. Douglas A. Dubisar will officiate. Organist Judy Klasing will provide the music. Pallbearers will be Paul Collier, Scott Glenn, Myron Steffens, Darrel Ohrenberg, Herbert Ohrenberg and David Romero. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
Born Dec. 10, 1933, in Blackburn, she was the daughter of the late Louis Ohrenberg and Clara Veits Ohrenberg. On June 3, 1962, in Marshall, she married Thomas J. Ballew, who preceded her in death Nov. 14, 1984. She was a lifelong resident of Saline County and had been employed at ConAgra Frozen Foods and the Marshall Habilitation Center until her retirement. She was a member of the Marshall Optimist Club and Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Survivors include one son, Thomas L. Ballew of the home; one brother, Edward L. Ohrenberg of Alma; and several nieces and nephews.
