WARRENSBURG -- The Missouri Valley College men's wrestling team picked up three medals Sunday at the Central Missouri State University Open at Warrensburg.

Sophomore all-American Darion Terry of Topeka, Kan., won five of seven matches in the 157-pound class for fifth place. Junior all-American Mario Thomas of St. Louis posted three wins in five bouts, also good for fifth place, at 184 pounds. Sophomore Drew Dickerson of Weiser, Idaho, went 4-3 for sixth in the 165-pound class.

Results for other Vikings were unavailable. The meet consisted of programs ranging for Valley's defending NAIA champion to top junior college and NCAA Division I and II teams -- including Missouri, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Iowa.

The Vikings are in Norman, Okla., today to face the Sooners for their first dual match of the season.
