Minnie Elizabeth Maycock, 69, of Waverly, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, at Appleridge Care Center in Waverly.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at Waverly Christian Church in Waverly. Rev. Mike Koch will officiate. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, at Gibson Funeral Home in Waverly. Burial will be in Val Halla Cemetery in Waverly. Memorials are suggested to the Kidney Foundation. Born May 30, 1934, in Waverly, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Minnie Reifsteck Lichtenthaler. On June 22, 1956, in Lexington, she married Edward Maycock, who survives of the home. She attended grade school in Waverly and graduated from Waverly High School. She was a housewife and mother and a member of Waverly Christian Church and Waverly Breakfast Club.
Additional survivors include two sons, John Maycock of Waverly and Doug Maycock of Marshall; two daughters, Mary Brayman of Marshall and Lisa Adams of Rogers, Ark.; four sisters, Lucille Richardson, Mildred Nichols, Katherine Hill and Edna Oelrichs, all of Waverly; two grandsons; and two stepgranddaughters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters and one stepgranddaughter.
