Ralph E. Wilcox, 65, of Marshall, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home in Marshall. Rev. Lowell Moore will officiate. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Riley Crawford, Clifford Frieben, Gene Lister, Abraham Sellers, Ed Shannon and Donnie Thompson. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home in Marshall.
Born March 1, 1938, in Burnt Prairie, Ill., he was the son of the late Ralph E. Wilcox and Velma Jane Kammerer Wilcox. On July 14, 1989, he married Bessie L. Owens, who survives of the home. He was a resident of the Lebanon, Ind., area for many years before moving to Marshall in 1990. He had been employed at Mallory Inc. in Frankfort, Ind., before his retirement.
Additional survivors include two sons, Clifford J. Frieben of Braymer and Anthony B. Frieben of Corn, Okla.; one daughter, Melissa L. Sellers of Slater; four sisters, Marian Reagen of Atlanta, Texas, Arlene Lister of Willford, Ark., and Phyllis White and Mary Allen, both of Lebanon, Ind.; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
