E.W. "Red" Browning Jr., 66, of Galt, died Monday, Sept. 22, 2003, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. Rev. Ron Ratliff will officiate. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Trenton.
Born Feb. 21, 1937, he was the son of the late Elwood Washington and Daisy Dean Browning. On Jan. 8, 1962, in Trenton, he married Donna Ree Kidwell, who preceded him in death June 6, 1997. He worked at Trenton Foods for 41 years and was a farmer in the Galt area all his life. He was a member of Tenth Street Baptist Church in Trenton and the Galt Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include one son, E.W. "Jack" Browning III of Marshall; two daughters, Lisa LaRee Dryer of Medina, Ohio, and Ginger Lee Murphy of Tarkio; and nine grandchildren.
