Mercedes Lynn Lefort, 1 month, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2003, at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at Rehoboth Cemetery. Rev. Robert Sisney officiated. Weiker Funeral Home in Slater was in charge of arrangements.

Born Aug. 15, 2003, in Columbia, she was the daughter of Ryan Lee Lefort and Faith Cunningham, who both survive of Slater.

Additional survivors include paternal grandmother, Malorie Lynn Parton of Glasgow; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Shirley Cunningham of Slater; great-grandparents, Kitty Jones of LaPlata, Charlie and Ellen Sullivan of Kirksville and George and Betty Cunningham of Slater; great-great-grandmother, Dorothy Weindruch of Mountain Home, Ark.; and several aunts and uncles.
